Valarie is a Board-Certified Sound Practitioner, Pause Breathwork Facilitator, and Mindfulness Teacher who guides others toward self-discovery and self-healing with the principles of sound, movement, breath, nature, inner traditions, depth psychology, and wisdom practices.
She is an author, publisher, seeker, warrior, Knowing Woman, and Founder of Mongata Healing Center. As the daughter of immigrant parents, her Gotland, Sweden ancestral roots and heritage strongly influence her beliefs, values, practices, and desires to express kindness and inclusion for all.

Breathwork creates certain changes in the body and can also create intense emotional and physical release. Therefore, for safety purposes we do not recommend that you do breathwork under the following conditions:
Epilepsy
Detached Retina
Galucaoma
Diagnosed bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
Severe Osteoporosis, meaning if you move around it will cause you harm.
High Blood Pressure that isn’t controlled by medicine.
Pregnancy
Heart or Cardiovascular Disease including a prior heart attack.
Family history of aneurysms.
Use of blood thinning medications.
Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis in the last 10 years.
Strokes, seizures, TIAs or other brain/neurological conditions.
If you have PTSD and are required to be in the care of a therapist, you must have your therapist permission to take this course.
